Guest guest
Pretty easy to see who the Exec Director is. According to the company website, Garrett is president and CEO of Biozone Scientific, a manufacturer of air and water purification devices using lightwave-based technologies. I think that is promotional speak for UV........ But it's a nice website.... According back to the Certification Application page of IIAQC or whatever, here are the certifications: Indoor Air Quailty Certified Professional (IAQCP) $159.95 Mold Insptection Certified Professional (MICP) $159.95 Both IAQCP and MICP $279.95 Not trying to be funny on this very sad topic, but they have started out by literally putting new meaning on not being able to spell Indoor Air Quality OR Mold Inspection. FYI, the above are not MY typos Speaking of alphabet soup..... Carlson is also an American on his board. Anyone in the IAQ space ever heard of him? His firm is at newairtech.com. According to his website he is a Member EEF - Environmental Education Foundation, Certified-Environmental Specialist - EAA , Certified-Indoor Environmental Engineer- Care Tech Industries , Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager , Certified Mold Inspector - Member #12213 Indoor Environmental Standards Organization, Certified Master Mold Remediator. Same story, different day. Nothing has really changed; let the buyer beware. Since I got really mad about this whole issue during the great Texas mold rush, I now plan on downing a glass of wine and mentally adding these certifications to the other 100 or so in the field of assessment of human exposure to toxic materials field that some of us used to call IH.
