Hi Joyce,

Not to doubt you, but shouldn't you been intolerant to cold since

you have hypothyroidism? I sure was when I was that way. Now that I

have HYPERthyroidism I am very heat intolerant. If you want I will

find symptoms of each for you. Since I have thyroid cancer I have a

better understanding of it.

When my hands get hot they turn bright red. That's part of my

Raynaud's. Maybe you have a more severe case of it. You should talk

to your doctors about it.

warm hugs,

disease but I also have Hypothyroidism. It seems RA, Raynauds, and

Hypothyroidism fight against the other. With Hypo it is so

difficult to tolerate the heat. I keep a fan running all of the

time because I perspire profusely in the summer time. It just rolls

down my face. When I get real hot I turn really red and it scares

anyone that sees me because they think I am sick. No fooling. I

can control my Raynauds as long as I don't hold anything cold in my

hands. My hands turn blue even in 100 degrees temp. Now RA is a

different story. It shows it's ugly head whether I like it or not

summer or winter. But of course it's worse in the winter. Many

many times I have wished I could do the things I use to do.
