I happen to be a professor and know that many Universities offer " emergency "

loans. You should go to your financial aid office and/or the dean of your

college. I'm sure they can help, especially if you explain your unique

situation!!!!!!

Last fall when I was hit by RA, then dignosed with it, I was in my second year

of college. I failed my classes that fall and ended up having to drop out of my

winter classes. Now that the meds are keeping things even most of the time and

they have fixed the sleeping all day problem I had, I am ready to go back. The

federal grants I had are on hold till I pay for one term on my own, at least

four credits. I am hitting brick walls trying to find the money to pay for it.

It is only 420.00 for the classes and since they are repeats I already have the

books and supplies. I am living on walfare right now. I am asking that you say a

little pray and ask God to help me find the money to get back in the class room.

I feel like he gave me this gift and RA took it away from me......Thank you in

advance

Thanks Bob, I have been thinking about at least telling them what happened

because I never did do that. I quailify for all the loans and grants. I will go

talk to the dean of students and see what he has to say.
