Guest guest
You have my prayers Betsy and I pray all goes well with the CT scan as well. healing, Ebony ------------------------ Tess, I hear you and there are many in the same situation unfortunately. Disability, is a big reason people find themselves unable to work. I am determined however to find a way. I have been thinking of home business opportunities, constantly thinking of a way to change the situation. Not sure what degree or training would change the situation but its worth a try. My mom used to get that amount and my 83 yo grand gets that to live on. She worked up until she was 78, the working poor. I would send money home when I got paid to mom and grandmom and as the RA disease progressed I sent less and less but still tried to send something if they asked me to or I knew they were running out, the grand is the only one living now. There has to be a better way. As for fun, I always wanted to join Toastmasters to learn public speaking. I have been told I have good speaking voice. I used to anyway. I also want to volunteer with Red Cross. My other half has been against it in the past and now the pain stops it, but I haven't given up the dream and will find a way soon. Where there's a will there's a way, as the saying goes.. I know you need to feel useful but you have adopted and cared for special needs children all while suffering a painful condition yourself and on very little income. That is a huge contribution to society and we thank you for that. Many blessings. Ebony love and peace, Ebony --------------------------------- Messenger with Voice.
