Guest guest
Wow, Kathy (IL) That's how it is for me. It is so frustrating when the meds make you sicker than the condition. You start to actually prefer the pain over the side effects but the flares make you wish you had other alternatives. Definitely a catch-22. Hopefully soon the right therapy will happen for you or a spontaneous lengthy remission would be nice, right? Welcome Kathie! I pop in from time to time. It takes my mind off things and I get to talk to some really great people. Sorry about your diagnosis and the loss of your business. It does seem that stress triggers the RA. I am guessing whatever stress does to the body -- whether depletes it of vital nutrients, dehydration or whatever trauma it causes -- I hear a lot about RA starting after an extremely stressful situation. I had many going on at once at the time of RA and a severe allergic reaction to nickel all at the same time, 10+ years ago. Also, so scary about the marriage ending after 30 years, really scary. That could be any of us, especially without the insurance for a long period of time. Holly: Holly those symptoms sound serious. I believe in urgent care centers for something like that. I couldn't take the pills. You might have to switch to injections. Even my coumadin pills burn my throat. You sound sensitive to meds but not be able to breath is too important to take lightly. And to the board...have a fun-fill, pain-free day today! blessings and healing, Ebony --------------------------------- Get amazing travel prices for air and hotel in one click on FareChase
