Guest guest
Hi, I'm 58 and was diagnosed at 55. I have OA, fibro and a condition not yet identified. I saw my rheumy today, and he told me to go for the balance studies I neglected in the midst of money problems. More than osteo is operating here, and my walking has been getting worse and worse. I can still navigate the NYC subways, but travel is annoying and painful and getting more so. On the studies prescription were the words " ataxia gait. " I read about this some time ago and don't remember anything, and I'm going from here to Medline and suchlike.
Guest guest
Alan, did your rheumatologist discuss the possibility that your neurological problems could be the result of your hepatitis C? So sorry to hear that you are dealing with this. Not an MD I'll tell you where to go!
