Osteoarthritis of the hands primarily involves the DIP joints. PIP

joints are less commonly affected. The PIP joints

are commonly affected in RA.

Being age 30 also would make me lean more towards RA. With both hands

and feet involved so suddenly is another

reason to lean towards RA.

I would absolutely get another opinion since early diagnosis and

treatment is very important in preventing damage.

Naproxen is NOT treating the disease.

Christy, I would get a second opinion from another rheumatologist.
