The PIP joints are commonly affected in RA. http://www.jfponline.com/pages.asp?aid=1687 & UID= Being age 30 also would make me lean more towards RA. With both hands and feet involved so suddenly is another reason to lean towards RA. I would absolutely get another opinion since early diagnosis and treatment is very important in preventing damage.
