Guest guest
Hi Carol, It's possible that you have RA, but it could be something else and only blood tests can tell if you actually have it. The creaking in your joints could be a sign that you have osteoarthritis as my doctor said that the popping in my knees was due to that. Maybe some others in the group will be able to provide some more information and ideas. My suggestion would be to go to your regular doctor and be tested for RA. That way you would know for sure. Welcome to the group and hope you can find the reason(s) behind all these problems. I do know why I'm experiencing mine, but am still am working to find the right meds that will help with all of them. Feel free to contact me directly through my email address anytime and I will respond as soon as I can but my hands limit my computer time. > Hello Everyone, > > My name is Carol and I am also learning a great deal and have only > been here a short time. Your symptoms sound a lot like mine...When my RA first started, my ankles would swell, and my wrists were painful. It was kind of weird, first my right wrist started hurting, and then my left one joined the party. My fingers were next. I was diagnosed with sero-negative RA last October. (Sero-negative just means that even though I do have RA, my bloodwork is normal.) Good luck--hope you get some answers soon! dordale
