Guest guest
Group-- Attached are two files containing articles in 2003 and 2004 on particulate loading in carpets summarizing the studies conducted in the Moses Lake School District (Eastern Washington). The file iaqnewsarticlemlsd.doc was published in the Washington State University quarterly newsletter Indoor Air Quality in Northwest Schools in September 2004. The file carpetcleaning.mlsd.technicalarticle.doc contains the step-by-step procedure used to "deep clean" carpets. This procedure is presented in Attachment C of the article. The product used for this study was Procyon at the recommendation of the Spokane School District. There are other very similar products on the market. I believe Cyon5 is one. For the purposes of full disclosure, I have since conducted three 1-day seminars on IAQ for the salesforce of Plus Manufactoring, Inc., the manufacturer of Procyon. I am not endorsing this product. I am merely sharing with this group the contents and conclusions of the studies at the time they were conducted. For those within the group that cannot retrieve attachments from our yahoo site (I am one), you can email me directly enviro@... and I'll send them your way.
