Guest guest
Dear Tawny, It is so good to hear from you. I haven't had the cance to tell you so. You have and are in my prayers. I tried Cymbalta, gave it a good 3 week try, and could not get over the tiredness. I take many other meds, so I am sure that all interact, especially because I was still taking Neurontin, which I check on the Rx interaction stie and said it was ok. I had visitors from out of town and fell asleep visiting her. Just leaning in my elbow fell over asleep! I now take Effexor 2 times per day and it has helped with my pain. My DIL takes Cymbalta at night and kinda uses it as as sleep aid and for her back pain - she has 6 children in 10 years. BUT all are individuals, what I found was, if you are one of those who does not eat when you are understress, be very careful. I had one of those low food intake days while on the medication and almost passed out. It must disrupt my blood sugar. My best recomendation is to try it, just be careful. If it doesn't work, try Effexor. Gentle Hugs & Prayers, Carol M. in CA
Guest guest
I am going to ask my doctor about Cymbalta. I have only heard good things about the med. It helps depression and pain, and that is what I need. I am currently on Prozac, but ready to change if its all that. Please, let me know how it works for you. Guest guest
Carol, Thanks Carol, it's good to be back on the board. It's just so hard to keep up anymore, so many postings, which is so overwhelming to know so many of us are in such bad health. Thanks for sharing how Cymbalta worked on you. I have noticed with the Neurontin if I'm not doing anything, and it's quiet I will fall asleep. I also sleep better at night. Oh wow, I know it wasn't funny you falling asleep, I'm sure your friend got a laugh though. I will try it, and if it doesn't work, I'll try Effexor. I hope your doing OK, and not having a lot of pain. I am having a bit of a flare, but it BETTER pass soon. It's getting hot here, which doesn't help either. Take care, and my prayers are with you, Tawny > > Dear Tawny, > It is so good to hear from you. I haven't had the cance to tell you so. You > have and are in my prayers.
