I had a lump removed from my breast about 10 months ago, and it was benign. My friend, however had a mastectomy about 18 months ago for stage 3 breast cancer. She underwent radiation and chemo, and is doing wonderfully now, no sign of the cancer at all and back to work as a RN. So, even it your Mom does have cancer, most likely it is treatable. He said her color is much better, pain less and eating some. Hospital working out home assistance for her.
