We are proud to announce the creation of " Breast Augmentation and

Reconstruction, " a public newsletter providing information about breast

augmentation and reconstruction surgeries, including breast implants and

tissue transfer surgery [TRAM flap, Latissimus dorsi flap, etc. ]

It is BAAR's mission to expose the dangers and complications of these

surgeries that too often remain unmentioned by the surgeons who perform

these procedures.

Women have repeatedly reported that they were not offered adequate

information about these procedures prior to their surgeries. By not

providing adequate information, women are not able to make educated

decisions concerning their health in respect to these surgeries.

It is BAAR's vision to inform the public about complications and other

dangers in an effort to provide adequate information so that women may

make educated decisions about their health when investigating these

surgeries.

BAAR also offers relevant information for those women who are currently

suffering from complications incurred from these procedures.

BAAR is a source of information for patients, legislators, reporters,

medical personnel, and all others who have been previously limited in

their understanding of complications from these surgeries due to the

suppression of media and biased medical reports and research.
