The only thing I would think you would want to grow as fodder with a hydroponic system is possibly sugar beets and you would have to grow so many, it wouldn't be cost effective at all. K.C. [bULK]Re: Digest Number 1281 We had a greenhouse(retail scale) fully automated hydroponics. We grew cukes, tomatoes and green peppers. I would not think that growing any animal fodder would be practical in this manner. It was an interesting experiment on our part and we did have veggies far into the season but even with that type of setup, when the days grow short, the plants stop growing no matter what you do.
