Guest guest
Oh! Believe me I did! I even gave them copies of the letter to the healthy world. My husband loved it. We use it to refer to everything. I couldn't sleep tonight because he made me promise I would rest all day Friday and save extra spoons to take our daughter to the park and possibly the small city zoo as a family on Saturday. These idiots I'm talking about are so self centered that when I fell in the kitchen they simply stepped over me and walked away and when I tripped over my own feet and missed the last two steps they compkained that I was blocking the stairs. I really just need to get away. They always want to come to me with their money woes and want to live with me every time they " leave their husband for good " and I have a hard time saying no because they're family. But I know they wont bug me if I move away. It's out of sight out of mind for them. I really didn't want to complain. lol It's quite comical in a Cinderella sort of way since my husband whisked me away from them. Just not far enough away yet! lol Annie > > Perhaps you should print out " the Spoon Theory " and give it to your family members to read. > > http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/2004/11/the_spoon_theory.php > > > >
Guest guest
It sounds to me as if it might be good to sit them all down, tell them you are NOT well, and that you are NOT going to be there for them anymore............and then stick to it. One can only be a doormat for so long. Uprooting your husband, child, and yourself may be the only way, but I'd try everything else first. If you decide to relocate, pick somewhere that they can't get to easily and then DON'T let them visit. Some family ! Patsy (63) AZ DX 2005 Stage 1 PBC AIH/SLE/RA [ ] long and whinny Oh! Guest guest
What is " letter to a healthy world " ? Perhaps it would be best if you relocated, I can't imagine that these people care about you at all. Sadly, we can't pick our family. Your husband sounds wonderful............ Take care, save those spoons......... Patsy (63) AZ DX 2005 Stage 1 PBC AIH/SLE/RA
