Learn how to meditate if you don't do it already. It's very helpful

for sleep issues in addition to a wealth of other benefits.

Hi Sierra,

I know how to meditate but didn't. Tried corpus pose and other easy

poses. Also prayed every few hrs.

Does it have any side effects?

I had RL when I decreased my prednisone.

I could have been a great punter!

I went up in dosage and it went away.

Very frustrating syndrome!

I had to laugh at a comment about 'moving around at night'. The last time I

needed new sheets for my bed it was because the current ones were threadbare,

just where my feet rested. The rest of the sheet was still fine !

I take Mirapex for Restless Leg, and I got it from my PC. It too works great,

and I only take it 'as needed', it's been about a month since I last took any.

It's just after 8 PM and I just took my evening pills, Restoril, Xanax, and

Amitriptyline. At bedtime, 10:15, I'll take half a Soma or sometimes a whole

one, and I still won't go to sleep until after 11 PM. More than 60 years and

I still haven't found the key to going to sleep. This is unlike Betty. She

can go to sleep walking to the bedroom, well almost. Sometimes I wish I had

a mild case of narcolepsy.

That's why I get up... Even if I get more awake for a while, when I lie

in bed with my mind buzzing in circles, I'm sure not getting any sleep,

and I don't think I'm even getting meaningful rest. At least if I'm

sitting in a recliner, reading a book, my BODY is resting.<g>

If I can't fall asleep relatively quickly, I probably am not going to

fall asleep at all. But all people are different!
