Tough day, painful night................

Well today was my first day back to work after taking

7 weeks off for the surgery on my foot, recovery and

rehab. I knew that the pain was going to be bad but I

did not expect it to be this bad.

I have been up since 4:30am and have a wake-up call

for 2:30 am in the morning and sleep evades me due to

this terrible and unrelenting pain.

I hate to vent to all of you, but you are the only

ones who truly know what I am feeling and in that I

find some measure of comfort.

I could have woke up my husband but he also had a long

day and it wouldn't take away this pain.

Since my surgery the swelling and throbbing pain are

at times unbearable.

I have tried everything to get some much needed rest.

Iced the foot, took a warm bath, took darvovet and

flexeril. I am more than open to any suggestions as I

am beat and this is almost too much to take. When the

waves of pain get intense it even takes my breath

away.

Thanks for listenting and sorry to rant on and on, it

really does help to get these feelings out.

Have a great, restful and pain free night and day my

fellow RA warriors.
