Guest guest
Hi , It is time consuming, but have you considered selling things on ebay? You can sell everything from clothes the kids outgrow to knick knacks and anything else you can find. There is a lot of money to be made. That is what my husband does for a second job and it is the only way we make ends meet. Terri work at home ideas My husband had a serious surgery and has been off work for months. We not getting anywhere trying to get assistance. My daughter has autism and epilepsy and I am her caretaker. I have no family that helps me and i don't really have any friends because all my time is devoted to my daughter. So he was our income. He only brought in $9. an hour but we made it with that and my daughters ssi. SO now he can't walk or care for himself plus my daughter. So I have been racking my brain trying to figure out an income from home and be able to take care of my family. Do any of you know of anything ligitimate that I can do? Thank you guys! Guest guest
A friend of mine used to paint baskets for a shop in Pigeon Forge, she got paid per basket. If there are any crafty/tourist areas near, that might be an avenue, there are other aspects of home work, like stuffing things, sewing, etc. I would also suggest you try and get disability for him. If he is approved, I believe you and the kids would also get an amount, but not certain. Also, since your daughter is already in the system, if you could get a respite assistant then you could work out of the home. Any chance anyone you know & trust might be willing to come live with you all for a while for free housing so you could work? Sometimes I think about working a night shift while hubby is home, but obviously you cannot do that if hubby isn't able to care for daughter. Guest guest
We are trying to get disability for him but he doesnt have a birth cerificate and we are having a hard time getting him one. We don't have anyone to help with him or my daughter so that's why I was trying to find something to do at home. I have tried to have repsite in the past but my daughter won't have it. She is still in diapers and needs alot of help. She is glued to me and she won't go with anyone and won't let anyone change her or anything but me. I don't have anyone that I could trust to take care of her. His family doesn't do anything for him and hasn't seen my daughter but in passing in stores or wherever. My family looks out for themselves and don't worry about everyone elses problems. They come to me to help them. So I am pretty much all they have which is pretty wearing on me. But my daughter has always been first place to me and now I am all he has. I am hoping that he will get starightened out but it's not looking good so far. So I am trying to hold everything down for all of us. If I had a way to make income that would be a huge stress off me. I really don't know what to do. Thanks for the info! Guest guest
Yes, I was about to try that but now ebay has made it to where you have to have a paypal account to sell anything. And I don't have paypal. So that kinda messed up that idea. I really don't have much to sell anyways. Guest guest
I work from home for a company answering customer service calls. It's not hard work, and you get to pretty much set your own schedule. I've been working with this company for about a year now, and if I remember right, I think it took under a month to get through the whole application process. The name of the parent company is West Telemarketing, but the at-home division is all incoming calls, not calling others. You have to have a basic phone line, and computer, and high-speed internet(doesn't have to be ultra-high, I use AT & T 19.99/mo dsl plan) The calls are routed to your home through the 800 customer number of the client you are trained for, so nobody ever has your phone number except the employer. The website to apply is http://apply.westathome.com/ I hope this helps. I work part-time, but sometimes when I really need some extra I pick up more hours. You get paid for talk-time with customers, but if it's a slow week, you are guaranteed at least min. wage for the hours you are logged in. > > My husband had a serious surgery and has been off work for months. Guest guest
just my 2 centsPaypal is easy - I think you just need a credit card to sign upI use Paypal and buy and sell on EbayMy NT son (17) just went in with a group of friends and bought a wholesale lot of sports jerseys and are now selling them one at a time on Ebay. They are almost finished with the first lot and have doubled their money and working on a second lot. You don't have to have your own things to sell. Pick something that you know a lot about, buy a wholesale lot and then sell individually. You would be amazed what people buy on Ebay!LorenDad to Lara (hfa 15) work at home ideas My husband had a serious surgery and has been off work for months. Guest guest
Yep, a lot of people scan thrift stores and freebie adds at Craig's List and others to find stuff to sell. That said, I think you really need to know the product in which you sell. Like with sports stuff, I'd have no idea if I was getting ripped off, or what price to set, so it does take a little homework. Debi
