I have to concur with that one. I know one little girl who had a test

done where they put something in her stomach to measure the pH over

time, her's was in the 20's!!! That's WAY basic. I think it was some

sort of tube or something, I'm sure a descent gastro would know about it.

I'd never heard of what described, we can learn more stuff from her!

Well, now you're embarrassing me :-)

Sorry you're not feeling well right now. Definitely do the HCl test

when you're up to it. It's cheap and easy and you'll have a

definitive answer. Let me know how it turns out and we can go from

there if you want.

Have you been checked specifically for hiatal hernias? A hiatal hernia

affects the sphincter muscle that keep stuff in your stomach from coming

back up the esophogus. The sphincter relaxes and acid can come back

up. Also part of your stomach itself can come up (hence " hernia " ).

Nexium tightens that muscle. It may also change the acidity in your

stomach -- I don't remember, I'd have to look it up. That may be the

reason your Dr suggested it instead of Pevacid or some of the other acid

reducers.

Ah yes... the red pill vs. the blue pill.... do we live on in

ignorance, possibly in bliss, or do we face the truth of our

existence? Great film!

Poor Bob Dole...I wonder how he is doing with his " problem " ? lol

cathy has a way of teaching that is of clear to me too and most often

read of all her posts on things. It seems tome much years back she was

of one that suggested of me having H pylori tested in me. because a

biomeridian testing showed it was in me and she encouraged of me to

take of this info to the medical and did and they did test and it was

of positive.

I remember that, Sondra. The H. pylori has undoubtedly contributed

to much of your digestive discomfort. It can be hard to kill,

especially if you are using antacids, since sufficient stomach acid

helps keep it in check.
