Hi --

My son was on Adderall for several years and it worked great for him.

Then when he was 9 his body started changing (pre-pre-puberty) and the

drug started making him super anxious, especially at about 4 PM -- he

would have major panic attacks. We switched him to Strattera (50 mg)

and added Prozac (for anxiety and impulse control) and he's doing great

now. Hang in there -- changing drugs is hard! But it was so worth it

in our case. Good luck!

I really liked it (40mg was my top dose and it took a

month to get there). There wasn't any drop off and it

doesn't feel speedy either at the right dose--too much

and I cried *all the time*. After a bit it stopped

working but I have that problem with EVERYTHING

because my brain is strange like that. It's a lot

" gentler " than Ritalin.
