Guest guest
Hi Yanosz: I trail ride, usually with my best friend or my daughter. We used to do team sorting, but my balance just does not cut it any longer for that kind of riding. My daughter loves thoroughbreds, but the horse I ride is QH, he was a lot of horse in his day, but he is older now, as am I, and we just take it easy for the most part - but as you know, they do have their days, and he does keep me challenged, but I've had him almost 8 years, so I know him well. I like that I know him well - don't have the guts to just jump on any horse like I used to. I just like to mosey down the trail - no more ye-hawing for me lol. Guest guest
I remember when I was younger. I'd jump on any horse, from the meek and mild to the extremely wild. Not anymore. To many falls on my head and having a horse come about an inch and a half, literally, from stomping on my neck has left me... Wary? My TBreds are a bit high strung but I can usually settle them down with some longeing before I get on. My Irish Draught, Lucky Dublin, is a dream. Never gets upset. Never spooks. Never goes faster than I want him to go... He's only five and he's not gelded. He's even good around the girls. I love him to bits! Trail riding is so much fun, isn't it? Yanosz Descouedresz Email: yanosz@... On : yanoszd The Road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with eager feet, Until it joins some larger way Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.
