Guest guest
Debi, , anyone have any input about my daughter wanting to salt and pepper everything to death lately? If not it's fine, but thought I'd try again in case my post got lost. Thanks Melinda **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
Sorry, Melinda...I must have missed that one. Desiring strong input in the mouth can often be a sensory integration issue or even a type of stim, but intense salt craving on their own can also be physiological in nature. Sometimes it can indicate an adrenal issue, but more commonly a mineral deficiency. Most salt is really bad for you the way is it processed and stripped of any nutrient value. My daughter loves salt too, and I let her have what she craves, but I use a very specific type of salt called Himalayan Pink Salt. Sea salt is better than table salt, but nothing compares to Himalayan crystal salt. It is truly an ancient gift from God, if I may wax spiritual :-) It is also good for mineral baths or foot soaks. I also make something called " sole " from the large rock crystals, and take this every day and also give it to . This is where I buy mine online, but you can also get it in health food stores, although it is usually much more expensive. http://americanbluegreen.com/ > Debi, , anyone have any input about my daughter wanting to > salt and > pepper everything to death lately?
