I know that when I have Pleurisy episodes they feel like that. Could

that be a reason for the chest pain that you're all having? I don't

know. Just curious.

wanted me to have all the heart tests done back in February when I

had it bad. Of course, everything came back normal. I had a chest

x-ray done where it showed I had nodules on my chest. What do you

do about this pain. I have it constantly in various levels of

pain. Somedays are not so bad and others it's all I think about. I

sometimes take Advil for the pain, but I don't want to take too much

stuff and get immune to pain meds. I see my Rheumy in September.

I'm beginning to think there's some confusion happening here. A-Fib is not

painful. In fact, you almost cannot tell it's happening without an EKG

machine and know how to read the charts. Very few of us are able to

distinguish the nearly non-existent symptoms of Atrial Fibrillation, so if

you are experiencing pain, it's something else.

The 'pain in the chest' that I've experienced in the past has been in the

sternum where the ribs connect. That was when the RA was very aggressive and

was attacking everything it could find. I have had assorted 'owies' that had

no real basis or reason and never repeated. Whatever you are experiencing

could be anything, so have a professional look into it, please.

It's a relief to know it's somewhat " normal " . The er doctor didn't go into any

detail and I haven't seen my gp yet, afraid it was gonna be another ordeal! The

pain meds I take for everything else seems to help, so I'll stick with that!

Thank you all!
