Guest guest
, THANK YOU!! I read all of the articles. Some of the info I have read previously but much is new to me! I have had elevated liver function test at various times over the last 10 years. The last being 1 year ago at my annual physical. My primary sent me for an ultrasound, which showed that I had a 'fatty liver'. She also tested me for Hep A, B, C & D. (All came back negative. ) Now I have to wonder why this info wasn't tied into the ongoing symptoms that have since been diagnosed as RA? I never even thought to tell the rheumy about it........ But then I'm sure with all the labs he sent me for something must showed up. I must learn to ask about the test results. Overwhelmed is probably an understatement. It's been hard to comprehend and harder to accept without a support system. I'm so glad that I found this group. -- [ ] INFO - MedlinePlus: Hemochromatosis (iron overload) MedlinePlus " Hemochromatosis " : http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/hemochromatosis.html Not an MD I'll tell you where to go!
