Guest guest
, My goodness! Thanks for sharing this perspective with us today. I too, am sometimes guilty of thinking, that I am " the exception to the rule " . When I just read your comments, I realized that and yet it isn't something that I think about too often. Thanks for giving me reflective thoughts! Blessings, PJ angelamdavey2300 wrote: Hi Everyone, Went to a very early meeting this morning and the topic was ACCEPTANCE. I reflected for a few moments and then thought of its opposite -- REJECTION. Making a list of those things that I ACCEPT, I realized that the very same list can be moved over to the REJECTION column. The other word that came to mind was EXCEPTION. So here I am, facing a choice, do I accept this truth about something or myself, or do I reject it? When I am being honest with myself, I also include my ability to see myself as being, " the exception to the rule. " Today, in this moment, I choose to accept the truths about myself, the people in my life, and the world. Today, I live in peace and serenity, accepting the truths about myself, the people in my life and the world. Guest guest
What a beautiful statement. I feel the same. I like to relish the lovely things in my life rather than the negative. I just want happy children and what ever happens is a plus! -Teresia Mother of 4; 3 with ASD > > One of my wife's degrees is in art, and whenever we went to a display of art, she would explain the finer points of the work.
