Enbrel injection site reaction

I got an itchy welt after Enbrel injections too. I found that if I

immediately put Benadryl lotion around the injection site, right

after I took my shot, it solved the problem.

I stopped taking Enbrel, but not because of that... It just didn't

work very well for me. I'm on Humira now, which works better for me,

AND doesn't give me the site reaction. The shots hurt more,

though. :-/

woke up with an itchy welt on my thigh near my injection site from

Tues. Did others who tried Enbrel get welts and how long did they

last? Did they go away? Were they bad enough to make you rethink

Enbrel? Did anything help?

I know sometimes it would itch so bad on my thigh it would drive me

crazy at work. It was 5 times worse than a mosquito bit...lol

But it would go away after a day or so..
