Guest guest
Jeanine, I have been waiting to hear from others on Orencia. 6 or 7 on the pain scale is bad for you?? Honey, that is heaven for me. My pain level is usually borderline flare ( 9 to 9.5). I can actally feel like a human being with 6 or 7 level but 8 is no good, we all want Zero!! LOL! And we deserve to go in remission once in a while for a long while, right? Orencia is good. Not be all, end all but it's okay. I am not dreading taking it or anything, but leery of increased health risks and not listening to anyone telling me different. All meds have a health risk including aspirin the most common medicine there is. Many of us can't stomach it. Nonetheless, will stick it out until recommended time and go from there. What other alternatives did your doc mention if the orencia turns out not to be your thing? The one! Wishing you relief soon on it. I have been away from the boards and will probably be away for awhile longer trying to keep up with the healthy people on my typing job for as long as the crooked fingers will allow. LOL! The fingers do turn numb, cold, and blue at times, but typing with them may keep circulation going I am hoping. I have to try at least. Hope all is well with every one. Do at least one thing you absolutely adore today and everyday to bring peace and joy into your life. Singing in the shower, dancing, painting, sitting by the beach, being out in nature, watching comedy, telling a joke, teaching someone to read, etc., only make sure it's legal and if your enjoyable thing involves someone else make sure it's consentual. Many blessings! " To thine ownself be true... " > > Wow, after several months of hemming and hawing and trying Immuran, I > finally started my Orencia 2 weeks ago.
