Guest guest
Two days ago I twisted my shoulder trying to get a roll of toilet paper from the back of the shelf under the bathroom sink while I was sitting on the toilet. Usually I check to make sure there is enough toilet paper first but I forgot this time. It was my grandparents house so things aren't where they are most comfortable for me. Well I had to bend my arm backwards and reach down low and all the way back. I got the toilet paper but I've been in so much pain since then I don't think it was worth it. My shoulder is swollen about an inch higher than the other one, and I haven't been able to sleep for more than three hours at a stretch since it happened. Of course I did it over the holiday weekend so the doctors are closed, but I'm giving in and letting my mom take me to urgent care for something stronger for the pain and inflamation until I can talk to my rheumy. I never thought that something as simple as reaching for toilet paper could do this much damage. I've only beeen diagnosed for a few months, and I don't know what to expect. This really makes me wory about the future.
