Guest guest
Welcome to the group. I think that's wonderful that you started a support group in your area. Would like the same for Georgia. I contacted the arthritis foundation when i first moved to georgia and wasn't given much info on the subject by phone. a search for a local support group led me to the online groups. I have joined many, but frequent 2 online groups so far, one that speaks more on nutrition and exercise and this one regarding more of the traditional. I think it takes both. Actually, you have to fight it with all you got...spirituality, medicine diet, exercise support, friendship, family, whatever you can throw at it because it fights back. (smile) If I can ever get control of the RA, I will become more serious about starting a local group where we can meet maybe once a month or something. Until then, I'll stick with the online groups. that way you can attend days you aren't able to drive to a group. peace and healing, Ebony
