.....

Welcome to the world of auto-immune and the games of Sorry, Chance, Kismet,

Clue, and Life with a little bit of Charades thrown in.....

I don't think there are very many of us who can not say we didn't go through

the same process to make a determination of what is it we have..... Don't ever

lose your hope ...as that is what will let beast take over...keep fighting...and

one way to do that is to become knowledgeable in what you have and how to combat

it...join with others to learn the most you can and get your support so that

times like today do not break you down and you give in. Above all...do not be

afraid to speak up and question every move in the game.

Wishing you a better day tomorrow...and more.

Love, Prayers, HUGGS, and positive thoughts...always

Hi all!

I went to the Rheumy this evening to talk about pregnancy and found

out that I might have a connective tissue disorder instead of RA, or a

combination of the two. The Rheumy could not give me a specific CT

disorder, but said that the " blanching " that I have been getting on my

fingers and toes are an indicator of a CT disorder. Does anyone have

a connective tissue disorder? Do you experience " blanching " the loss

of color and blood flow in fingers and toes? Now I am confused b/c i

thought I knew what I had since the Dr. said that I had RA without a

doubt, but now she is telling me that I might have something else!

Grrrr...this is frustrating!!!

Sorry, . Getting an accurate diagnosis can take some time.

About the blanching - I think you are probably talking about Raynaud's.

I have it. Sometimes it is a benign condition; other times, it is

associated with connective tissue diseases and is not trivial. I'll

post some information on it.
