Guest guest
My doc said last week he thought I had RA. This week I got the results of the tests, and they are all negative. He sent me for a test called ANA. I think I missed something. I thought they could DX RA visually, then confirm with bloodwork. So if all the blood work is WNL, what is the other test for, really, and how is he supposed to identify the problem with nothing else to go on but physical symptoms? Im so Confused! Help! Thanks,
Guest guest
don't feel too bad we are all clueless--even the doctors are--all these autoimmune diseases are kindof one in the same and it can take a while to get a diagnosis-if ever.RA can be negative and you could still have it--thats why he is checking the ana to see how high it is and how bad the inflammation is in your body-----it has been 5 years for me---i have numerous diagnosis--i think they just keep tagging them on because they are not really sure whats wrong....try and relax and go on with your life as best you can...baby steps...if you need to talk i am here.......lynn8953
