Guest guest
I haven't been on here to post much since I have had a bad flare lately and was in the er with strep and bronchitis last night that was so bad they gave me morphine. (That's awful stuff!) But I saw this post and wanted to share that I make soap from scratch. I mix the vegetable oils (I don't use lard like the old days) and lye togethr and make soap like they did back the old days in peoples kitchens and then I sell it online in my store. I enjoy it a lot. I don't make a lot of money but it covers most of my medical costs and allows me to work at home so I can be at home with my daughter. How is everybody here doing anyway? : ) Annie Michigan
Guest guest
That's great. My mother-in-law makes soap too. --- Annie <ahightower@...> wrote: > I haven't been on here to post much since I have had > a bad flare > lately and was in the er with strep and bronchitis > last night that was > so bad they gave me morphine. Guest guest
I also am a soapmaker! lol How funny is that? I make cold process soap, liquid soap, lotion, lotion bars, lip balm, and body polish. I'm also in R & D on a cream soap that is coming along nicely. I enjoy working for myself because when I have a flare, I don't have to worry about getting fired! I do lots of shows, from Washington DC, to West Palm Beach, to Houston. I really love what I do and it helps to have a creative outlet and I get to meet some absolutely wonderful people.
