Guest guest
I got a stainless steel colander so I do not have to lift heavy pots with boiling water to drain pasta and potatos etc in the sink cuz they became too heavy for me. I put the colander into the pot and lift only the colander out when the cooking time is done. I use a mop to clean the tub. I replaced my kitchen garbage can with a smaller one so it does not get too heavy for me to do, and I set it up on a stepstool so it is not so low to the ground. I got a huge tv remote, it is almost as big as a spiral notebook, and leave it sitting on table rather than trying to hold it in sore h ands. I bought a small size bottle of laundry detergeent and fabric softener and have someone use the larger bottles to refill the smaller ones for me. I keep a stool in kitchen for me to sit during certain chores. I replaced my old hand crank can opener........ I now use a Magic Bullet to chop vegs........ I keep scissors in kitchen to open packages, like envelopes and bags for meal prep. - In , " " <AMMACLARKE@...> wrote: > > Hi everyone: > I hope you dont mind me starting this new topic. Guest guest
Marie Calenders has crock pot meals that are as close to home made as you can get! My husband really likes them. I put it in the crock pot in the morning and don't worry about it. I also plan on spending a weekend with my girls cooking and freezing meals so I have dinner on hand on my bad days. Guest guest
Oh yeah! I almost forgot my favorite new tool. I got a jar opener from Pampered Chef that you install under a kitchen cabinet. It works great! And, I have a really wonderful pair of sharp kitchen scissors that I use for everything, even cutting up meat instead of a knife. And, thanks to whoever on this list recommended a padded, memory foam steering wheel cover. I bought one at Kmart last week, and I love it. Especially in this cold weather, it makes the steering wheel warmer as well. Meg in PA --------------------------------- Need Mail bonding? Go to the Q & A for great tips from Answers users.
