Leucovorin - Found this online....

Thank you Paige! I always intend to ask a lot of questions at my

appointments but somehow I just end up nodding my head alot.lol

The headaches are not horrible, just annoying. As long as the MTX continues

to work, I will keep taking it. It will be great if the Leucovorin works

though!

Leucovorin (loo-koe-VOR-in) is used as an antidote to the harmful effects of

methotrexate

(a cancer medicine) that is given in high doses. It is used also to prevent or

treat certain

kinds of anemia. Leucovorin acts the same way in the body as folic acid, which

may be low

in these patients.--
