Guest guest
Thank you Paige! I always intend to ask a lot of questions at my appointments but somehow I just end up nodding my head alot.lol The headaches are not horrible, just annoying. As long as the MTX continues to work, I will keep taking it. It will be great if the Leucovorin works though! Dianne
Guest guest
Leucovorin (loo-koe-VOR-in) is used as an antidote to the harmful effects of methotrexate (a cancer medicine) that is given in high doses. It is used also to prevent or treat certain kinds of anemia. Leucovorin acts the same way in the body as folic acid, which may be low in these patients.-- Keep us posted! I'm most interested.
