Guest guest
Hi to All! I went to my Rheumy on Friday . He says we may have cracked the code. On my main source of pain. So far I have been diagnosed with RA ,DDD, Fibro, and multiple Herniated disk,oh yea and Carpel Tunnel. I had an x-ray done on my SI joints and spine. The x-rays show " significant change " where my spine and pelvic area come together. He said that he believes we are dealing with another Autoimmune Disease besides RA. If anyone knows the name of the one that attacks that area please shed some light on it for me. Now I have to go and get another MRI this friday. It's my 3rd one in 7 weeks. You'd think I would be getting used to them , I'm still just as nervous as the first time. I also found out why he wasn't treating me for RA. He wants me to quit smoking first. So I came home after that appointment sobbing because of the possible new diagnosis. Told my husband I was going to quit smoking and change my life drastically. So on monday I went to my first PT appointment for neck traction. Went without smoking all day. Started walking yesterday and felt so good after that. I am on day #3 smoke free and feeling pretty good. It's nice to have something going on in my life that I can control for a change! Have a great day!
