Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group. Like you I have had fibro a long time, but not as much as you. Did your doctors even know it when you first had problems? My gp at the time new about it in 1992, but I didn't find anyone unless until I heard a rheum do a talk on fibro in 97. He is still my rheum and a good one. Since your fingers get cold and numb has anyone told you about Raynald's syndrome? It's referred to as the red, white & blue one. My fingers turn blue and hurt when too cold. Then they turn red and feel very warm when hot. At first I only had the old ones and it scared me when I started getting the hot ones. Keep mittens or gloves on your hands when they get cold. Where do you live that you might be having this problem now? In the winter I keep mittens in my coat pockets to use if I am in cold theaters or restaurants. Feel free to ask more questions. It's ok to vent here, too. Everyone here is very nice and helpful. provides much great information she finds on the web. hugs, Debbie L
