Guest guest
Welcome to the group, Joyce! Wow, 30 years with RA, makes my measly 7 years seem so small on the grand scale. I get my meds through my insurance company, by mail, and I get three months supply for the price of two as well. I get Enbrel and Methotrexate this way, as well as drugs needed for my fibromyalgia. I have never had any problem. Yes, these are indeed chronic and lifelong diseases - your insurance company needs a wake-up call there! I am sorry for your knee pain - I have OA in both knees, have already had a large (almost could have been total knee) right knee surgery six years ago. Now my left knee gives me more trouble than the right lol. I hope that you are able to obtain some relief from your current meds so you can wean off of the Prednisone. That is a hard thing to do, I know, because the pain will flare up after a decrease, but hang in there, and I am sure you can make it down to 10 with time. Take time. Do not rush it. Take care - Kathe in CA
