This morning, I woke up with a hurting hip, presumably from sleeping on it. I looked at the ones that our local WalMart has some that are 1 1/2 " thick for somewhere around $70. Are these the ones that are good, or am I in the wrong place? What would I look for? I notice one was waffled, not an egg crate which isn't what I want. Somebody educate me, please. Guest guest
Dennis, I bought the one you are talking about at WalMart. I loved it but my boyfriend kept complaining that it wasn't big enough for the bed, there was about an inch or 2 gap on each side. It was a queen size and we have a queen mattress. He said he felt like he was always laying half on that and half on the mattress and it was bothering his back. Regretfully, I conceded and removed it. If I bought another one, I would probably buy a king size to avoid that concern. Just my 2 cents, but I absolutely loved it. Joanne ----- Original Message ----- .... Guest guest
If this is memory foam you are talking about, there is a vast difference in qualities. I didn't realize that and had bought a couple pillows that were just not acceptable. Then I found another one that is great. I found the difference to be in the weight as it is measured. The good ones aren't cheap but a cheep one is no good. Do a Google search. Betty Re: [ ] Matress topper? Guest guest
I bought the one from walmart. It is like memory foam. It helped me sleep a little better. I didn't have the " pressure point " soreness in the morning. My husband likes it too. Theresa > > I've seen a few discussions about these things and am starting to wonder if > one might help me. Guest guest
I have a memory foam mattress (not just a topper) and it it wonderful. It is amazing the difference it makes. I also have pillows and houseshoes. Before I got the pillows I was having alot of trouble with my hands and arms-waking up with them numb and tingling because I sleep with my arms under my head. The pillow contours around my arms and gives great support to the neck and head. It eliminated my arm and hand problems. I wear the houseshoes all the time. They are the most comfortable shoes I own (my crocs run a close second). betnden@... wrote: I've seen a few discussions about these things and am starting to wonder if one might help me. Guest guest
I had bought different foam pillows and they never " fit " . My head and neck pushed in such a way the head was not supported. Then I happened upon information about the quality of foam. This good quality foam does what I want. It is a flat pillow but the foam is such that when I lie down my head depresses the foam and it will stay that way. It is not depressed around the neck so it supports that. The one I have is a major brand foam but sorry I do not have the name. Betty Re: [ ] Matress topper? . __,_.I have a memory foam mattress (not just a topper) and it it wonderful. Guest guest
I use the Pillo-pedic 4 way comfort pillow by Foot levelers inc. I can only get them through my chiropractor. They come in different sizes to fit your frame. They are around $40. Theresa
