Debbie,

I am not sure what your Dr. is trying with the Neurontin, but I started it 4

times per day. 100mg and then 200mg at bedtime. That is what HELPED

me....I now take 400mg 4 times per day and it works. None of the sharp nerve

pains, the jerks, spasm or just plain hurts that I had in my muscles. Please

tell

your Dr. the dosage, time isn't working and maybe he will adjust it.

Hope this helps

Hi Carol,

Thanks for your prompt reply. Two weeks ago I had two nights of

little sleep. Since my rheum gave me my sleep meds I called and let

him know I didn't sleep good that week. His nurse called back and

stopped my Soma muscle relaxant and ordered the Neurontin. I was

allowed to take Soma as much as 3x day. Can't take Neurontin that

often though. Monday I will call my rheum and tell him everything I

wrote here.

>My Primary Doc put me on 600MG X3 Daily of Neurontin and I hate it!

It makes my eyes buggy and blurry, and my mouth moves faster than my

brain does. I went to my first appointment to a Pain Specialist

yesterday and he is taking me off of the Neurontin.THANK YOU LORD!!!

He is upping my Topamax to 100mg x3 to see if that helps. Wish me

luck!
