Just FYI for everyone, there's something called a 'vaporizer' that uses vapor instead of smoke. My guess is that it still might affect the lungs a little bit, but anecdotal evidence suggests that the lung damage/trauma is much less than with traditional smoking methods. Guest guest Posted August 19, 2008 Report Share Posted August 19, 2008 Doreen, I quit on March 6, 1994. I remember the date since it was such a significant one. I meant I couldn't go back and change the fact that I did smoke for over 30 years. My sister still smokes and has never even tried to quit. I would certainly recommend the group to her, but she doesn't do email. She doesn't even like for anyone to mention that she should quit. Congratulations to you for quitting, too. I know how hard it is.
