Guest guest
Does anybody have pain behind the knee which causes stiffness? Say, you are swimming, you can feel it behind the knees and if you keep swimming for X amount of minutes, they loosen up? It’s got worse over the last few months – started with pain above the knee (bottom of thigh) .. then it was more inside the knee cap, and now its more at the back of the knees. I’m thinking could it be the joint fluid that has leaked into the back of the knees, that’s what I’ve read on the t’internet. I went to see the Rheumy a few days ago and he said he’s giving me a bone scan – not sure what it will tell him though. He’s also prescribed me a 2 ant-inflammatory. Cheers for any feedback, Steve. -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
I have experienced this too. MY RD is keeping an eye on this. HE SAID THERE ARE TWO THINGS THAT COULD BE IN THE WORKS. The leaking of FLUID OR A BAKER'S CYST that RA PATIENTS ARE PRONE TO--OUT OF MY RD'S MOUTH. Anyone here heard of a BAKER'S CYST? I NEED TO do some research on this. I keep my joints warm AND IT SEEMS TO HELP WITH THE STIFFNESS BUT IT GETS MUCH WORSE IF I ALLOW MYSELF TO GET COOL--NOT A GOOD THING WHEN A HOT FLASH STRIKES! I HOPE this is of some help to you, STEVE. AND I HOPE YOU CAN get some help FROM YOUR DR. FOR THIS.(oops. Sorry about the caps. I'm having problems controlling my hands and hit the wrong key.) Do you ever feel a pressure type feeling/pain inside the center of your knee joints? I have noticed this just before the stiffness sets in. Here to hoping for low pain days and bright moments to bring a smile to your heart. , Oregon > > Does anybody have pain behind the knee which causes stiffness?
