I went from 15mg to zero after 6 months of slooooow tapering.

Begged my doc to put me back on, I am on 7.5

About the same with me. I tapered down from 20 I think (been quite a

while back) to 1 mg but it wasn't long before I had to start

tapering back up! I have been back up to 10mg once a day now for

quite some time, and while still a lot of pain and fatigue, I figure

I can live with it if I can keep my body and mind as busy as possible

as there could be worse problems if I take any more than that.

I have heard a lot of people say not to ever get started on it as it

is too hard to get off of it. But I don't feel I have an alernative

as I can not take the(I think they are called probiotics ? like,)

Humarin. I may be wrong, but I doubt if the side effects of Pred,

taking the lowest strength one can tollerate,is any worse and perhaps

less, than some of the probiotics. Since i am only an old fort that

really knows little about the probiotics I could be wrong.

talk to your doc. Decide how much pain you can work with and what

organs that can be effected by it and the other meds and he can help

you make up your mind.

Good luck..tvksi (leo)
