Guest guest
I've been on Zoloft for several years and haven't noticed anything like that. I've also been on Abilify and hadn't experienced that either...but I'm an adult, so I'm not sure if you were talking about a child on it or just anyone on it. April " A. Guest guest
I also read that respideral (sp) shouldn't be given to children under 18....I guess it all depends on who you talk to or what you read. kellystar734 <kellystar734@...> wrote: > I've been on Zoloft>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I have read that Zoloft has not been tested on children under 12. Guest guest
I try to find out all I can about medications that are prescribed to me. But I think that when we read all of the possible side effects of a med, the power of suggestion might sometimes cause us to give ourselves some of these side effects. And there are too many meds for doctors to know all about every one of them. For example, after starting Arava, I was trying extra hard afterwards to eat correctly to improve my cholesterol. But when it was checked, it had gone up! Since Arava was the only thing added, I looked up the side effects for Arava. Way down in the fine print was hypercholesteremia or some such word that meant high cholesterol. When I went to the rheumy and told him that Arava raised my cholesterol, he said, " Arava doesn't raise cholesterol. Where did you hear that? " So I emailed him what I had read. I had the highest respect for this rheumy, but I didn't expect him to know everything.
