Perk Up Without Coffee Next time you find your energy flagging during the workday, stand up, but don't head for the coffee pot. Instead, stand with your feet slightly apart and arms at your sides. With your palms facing down, begin raising yours arms as you inhale through your nose to a count of four. Finish inhaling as the backs of your hands touch with your arms straight overhead. Then begin lowering your arms to the starting position as you exhale to a count of four. Do two sets of five, with a pause between the sets.
