Guest guest
Hi Sierra: I'm sorry to hear that you are in pain, and it looks like the doctor won get back to you until Monday. For me, at first I took Motrin for pain, 800 mg. twice a day, and then increased from there. Unfortunately, after a few years on that, my stomach started acting up, and I got constant heartburn, and was then switched from the Motrin to Ultracet, and from there I have now gone to Ultram which is the best so far. At first, though, I would suggest that you try Motrin or any sort of anti-inflammatory O.T.C. such as that, but be sure to watch out for your stomach and take with food. It should be able to get you through the weekend until Monday. Hot baths and showers, heating pads, and rice socks are my staple outside of the pain pills. Rice socks are the best as they really form to whatever joint is painful and I find that really helps to get all around the joint if possible. I hope this helps - prayers are with you - Kathe in CA Kathe " To ride a horse is to borrow freedom. Guest guest
Thanks for the caring words. I went to drugs.com and checked out interactions--there were none listed with the Tylenol. So I think that'll be my choice. Thank goodness for the Internet--it's there for me when my doctor can't be...
