Guest guest
Yes, probiotics are for great for treating fungal problems. Concentrate on feeding your body a healthy, balanced, organic diet. Drink lots of purified water. Why don't you read Dr. Kolb's silicone protocol at http://www.freewebs.com/implants/siliconeimmuneprotocol.htm This outlines her recommendations for treating silicone illness. Guest guest
Gretchen, I don't think the no drains means you will stay sick. I think it may take a little more time to heal. If no leak then I think your odds are great since you had them for 5 weeks, found the site an reacted so quickly. Hang in there and there are lots of women who have recovered from this and had way more symptoms and had them in way longer. If you keep thinking you won't heal and stressing it will take even longer. We can all agree that we all get better after explant? We can all agree that stress makes our symptoms worse? We can all agree that my brain fog may have been first to go when others may have been there last symptom to go? Or with any symptoms it seems to leave everyone at different times. Just relax and thank God you found this site and there gone and didn't do more damage, since they would have. The drain thing is silly I think no need to get another surgery for them. It will pass as you detox and drink lots of water...... Good Luck to You and Happy Healing's. You are in all of our thoughts and prayers. God Bless!!!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Dearest Maritz: Honey, please allow us to help you. When I had my ruptured silicone implants removed, I too did not get better. I had some of the symptoms that you have experienced. The pressure in your head is one symptom that I had, it felt like a train was going through my head. It sounds like you might have a bad infection and you should go to your family doctor as soon as possible. We can give you hope and love, your plastic surgeon is out to lunch. You know your own body, and please do not take the pills. Weight gain is a symptom that many women have after having these toxic bags implanted into their bodies. Please read the article on thyroid disease that I posted this morning. Stay close to this wonderful group...love...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Re: Re: worried HI EVERYONE, THIS IS MARITZA I HAD MY EXPLANTS BACK IN AUGUST, i WAS FEELING BETTER, BUT NOW I FEEL HORRIBLE. Guest guest
-Hi Lea, My Tsh is 2.85. I normally ran 1.85. Most of my dr.s that I was seeing say oh unless it is over 3 it is not a problem, I pull out my reports and show them that I normally run at 1.85 and still nothing, I did the iodine skin test it disappears within 20 minutes. I can't seem to get this addressed. It is frustrating. although I am trying to do away with all meds. I am only taking topomax for migraines and ambian for sleep and ativan for the anxiety when I need it. So I guess I am better off not getting something for it. I am on antibiotics for three days because of the pnuemonia but after that it is going to be garlic for me. Guest guest
Rogene, Funny you mention this Dr. Kolb put me on iodine a few weeks ago when I saw her, since I have thyroid issues. I hope my hair stops falling out and grows, I am excited. Mine is a pill form though. Donna
Guest guest
Rogene, I also heard of a way to see if you need iodine. Take the dropper and put a drop about a quarter size on your stomach. Rub it in real good. Wait a few minutes wipe off. If it stains you need iodine????? This sounded weird but someone tested me and it said I needed it but I ignored the test. Went to Dr. Kolb and she put me on it so ended up with it anyway, didn't even ask for it or about it. Donna

Guest guest
Rogene, How do you take it? I even bought the salt with iodine in it. It is frustrating to say the least. Guest guest
When it disappears. Re: Re: worried Ok so if they disappear we need iodine? or if it stains???
Guest guest
Terri, With your thyroid that low, I disagree that you should not do something about it. I would be a physical mess with mine that low. My OB/Gyn feels that women should keep their thyroid at about 1.5. I would insist that it be addressed.
