Hi Nic,

Firstly - welcome back! How was the US? How was NYE? The shopping? The

food? Did you nab a rich New York doctor who has a penchant for

intelligent gorgeous Aussie girls with long brown hair? Tell all. I was

thinking of you..

Thankfully, the reflux has resolved itself. reflux sets off huge alarm

bells for me, I was really worried that this was it, so I had a very

easy food day yesterday- mind you the heat would put anyone off eating,

although I rediscovered my love of cold watermelon (a fab diuretic, I

believe). After my last lot of hassles, I've been so careful and haven't

PBd at all (after he removed the fill in hospital, that is), trying hard

to read to signs and not push things. I know it sounds weird that

physical work could affect one's band, but I was worried about tearing

the areas of abdominal muscle where it is anchored more than damage to

the organ- it might sound silly, but I'm wary that I have a band that is

a bit big for my stomach size, and that's why he wanted to fill me so

quickly that time, to anchor me in place so I could heal in place.

Anyway, it's probably all in my head, as things seem OK again.

I'm going in for more fill on Wednesday, so I'll mention my probs then.

I'm with you with the eating- up until last week, I could basically eat

like there was no tomorrow. Chips, bread, steak, the works. Just carefully.

It's great to see you're back. It feels like the silly season is nearly

behind us, thank god!!! I think there's some events about, including

some duck some time after Australia Day, something at Northern Beaches,

and no one weighed in on New years Day, so Feb 1 will have to keep us

honest.
