Guest guest
Hello my name is Carol I am a 34y with Rheumotoid. I have been so fortunate that I have a wonderful internist, however I am having a problem finding a Rheumatologist I feel comfortable with. I am going to a new on at IU med center in Indianapolis next Tues. I pray she is good!!! My pain has been so out of control and my sed rate shot up to 76 last week. Sometimes I feel like I want my legs cut off. I am currently taking Sulfasalazine and Percocet for pain. I have tried all the long acting opiods like oxycontin, etc. I sweat so bad while taking them that I cannot deal with it. Is anyone here having great luck with a different pain med? And I am looking to find what type of rheumatoid meds have been a lifesaver for anyone. I feel like I have no life and I try to be normal around my kids but I need to lay down so much I feel like I am not doing my best to hide it from them. My boys and my husband get me through the rough days though. I dont know what I would do without them. I am very fortunate when it comes to family support. Does this disease ever get tolerable? I feel like I can only have 2 good weeks at a time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Take care!!!
