Has anyone read Embracing the Wolf?

Still new at this Lupus thing, and just read a book written in 1989

called Embracing the Wolf - about a family's struggle with Lupus.

I was wondering if others read this book and what you thought of it.

Was it similar to your own experiences?

I was surprised and somewhat dismayed that the treatment and diagnosis

didn't seem to be any different than it is today. I was hoping that

things had improved in the last 20+ years. It seems like she had a

really rough time of it despite treatment.
