I wish I could help, Kate, but although I taped a fair few of the different events, I didnt tape the closing ceremony.....

Hi Everyone,Sorry this is off-topic - but I'm running out of ideas. My partner Liz was a horse-handler in the 2000 Olympics Closing Ceremony - so while she was "in" the ceremony, she didn't get to "see" the ceremony. Apparently they never published a video or DVD of the ceremony due to some copyright issues (I am currently bidding on ebay for the opening ceremony DVD). I was wondering if anyone happened to have a copy taped from TV that I could make a copy of? It would be an ultimate birthday present if I could manage it.Any help appreciated.ThanksKate

I have it here on VHS but not on DVD - I think I would go and get it copied across as we havent had a VHS player here for about 7 years and it was fantastic to watch. I might do this anyway so if you are interested let me know and it would be no trouble ot get another copy done I shouldnt think.

Oh you are a godsend! I would be happy to pay to get both of

us a DVD made of it. Can I pick the tape up and get it done? Or

reimburse you? Whatever is easiest for you!!!

I am so happy, I could do a little dance if my trainer had broken my
