Guest guest
Hi First of all Stop Worrying all is normal, you will now have no swelling as a result of surgery, so the surgery bit is the easy part, getting the fill correct and adjusted to you is the harder part, of the same band in two people can be totally different, like Mazz and I have the same band, she has about 1.5ml more in hers than in mine, I went up 1 ml, a few years ago and could not swallow my own spit...... The weight loss is going great so well done there, if you were not losing, then you might need to take stock... If you are snacking make sure these are the lower end of the calorie scale, drink plenty of water, is it hunger you are feeling or thirst, when we actually feel thirsty, we are suffering dehydration. I’ve lived with my band for 5 years on the 20th of this month, so guess I am reasonably qualified to give you some advice, but if you are worried go see your surgeon, but to me, it all sounds smooth sailing so far, if you have any more questions just drop us a line OK....... Try to stick to the portions where you can, drink some water half hour before you meal, eat slowly and chew chew chew............ All sounds juvenile but it works. Cheers Rob
